WINYATES Green biker Andy Burbidge bagged his first national points at the weekend.
The young rider got among the points at the fourth time of asking after stepping up to the MRO Series this year.
The club champion finished 14th to collect two championship points at Brands at the weekend.
Burbidge qualified 21st for Monday's race with 32 places available on the grid and climbed the field on one of his least favourite circuits.
Burbidge wants to be pushing onto the top five by the end of his debut season but will be happy with another placing at Cadwell Park in Round Five in three weeks.
