I WRITE in reply to Mr Sly's letter remarking on the Redditch Jazz Band uniform.
Do you remember what the uniform was in 1933?
It was white and red. If you look in the book of Old Redditch (series Number One), there is a photo in there and I am in it.
The dress then changed to the naval uniform.
When I left, they were talking of changing it to red jacket and white trousers.
