MARC Burrow has been forced to quit Worcester City due to work commitments.

The 25-year-old revealed he has been struggling to juggle the demands of his job with playing football.

Worcester-based Burrow is training to be a quantity surveyor but is also studying for exams in June and has decided to put his football career on the backburner.

He still hopes to play football at this level again, however, and admits he would love to pull on a City shirt again.

"I hope it's not the end of my football career but I've had to call it a day for this season," he said.

"I'd love to play for City again but I've had to put my job first because it's my main income. As part of my job I'm on day release at college but am fallowing behind with my course work and I need to get on top of that."

Burrow joined City when the club first launched an under 17 team. He has made 84 appearances for the St George's Lane club scoring six goals.
