Worcester City are locked in transfer talks with two left-sided players as manager John Barton seeks to bolster his injury-hit squad before tomorrow's centenary clash with Stafford Rangers.
The St George's Lane club also need to complete the signing before tomorrow for the player to be eligible for next week's FA Cup tie with Stamford.
Barton is currently without David Foy and Mark Shail, both suffering medial ligament damage, while Asa Charlton has a groin strain.
Marc Burrow (back) is still out and Stewart Hadley had surgery on his Achilles yesterday.
The St George's Lane club is urging supporters to arrive early for tomorrow's Stafford match with a crowd of 2,000 plus expected to create a carnival atmosphere with European-style fireworks to greet the players as they run out on to the pitch.
Meanwhile, Worcester City's youth team thumped Devizes 9-2 in the FA Youth Cup second qualifying round at St George's Lane last night.
