WORCESTER City and Hereford United have landed plum home ties in the third round of the FA Trophy.

The St George's Lane club line up against Newport County while the Bulls play Nationwide Conference leaders Yeovil Town.

City's assistant manager Mick Tuohy is looking forward to another exciting home clash after disposing of Ryman Premier Division leaders Aldershot.

Newport have already visited St George's Lane once this season whenthey went down 2-1 in a league match in front of a 1,500 crowd.

"They are all tough games so the fact we are at home is all we can hope for but we're delighted with that," he said.

"I'm sure there will be a big crowd and there's a great buzz around the place at the moment after Saturday's win and the victory at Hastings but there is still a lot of football to be played between now and the Newport game."

Hereford boss Graham Turner, meanwhile, expects a bumper 3,000 plus gate at Edgar Street for their clash with the FA Trophy holders.

"It's a cracking draw though I would have liked as easy a passage as possible because it's a cup competition that we have got a realistic chance of winning," he said.

"We've already had a good go against the Second Division leaders Wigan so why shouldn't we have a good crack against the Conference leaders?

"I would have thought there is enough interest to attract a crowd in excess of 3,000 because they will bring a reasonable following.

"Forget what competition it is, it is a knock-out cup against the leaders who I suppose are our nearest thing to a local derby. They've also got a couple of former Hereford players in Gavin Williams and Michael McIndoe."

Both matches will be played on Saturday, January 11.
