TEENAGE striker Duncan Willetts has been released by Worcester City.

The 18-year-old arrived at St George's Lane as a trialist in the summer but has failed to win a place in the first team.

He made just two starts for City with three substitute appearances, but impressed manager John Barton with his attitude.

"Duncan's opportunities have been limited and he needs to be playing on a regular basis," said Barton.

"With players starting to come back from injury his chances of playing first team football are going to be further limited.

"We felt that it was in his best interest to move on and find regular football at another club."
