SEVERN Sports and Leisure Ltd, the proprietors of Larford Fishery near Stourport, will be hosting the England Under 16 and Under 21 angling trials on Saturday May 31.
Each squad of six will be selected from the 25 handpicked juniors who will fish the trials. The selected anglers will then get to compete for their country at the forthcoming World Cham-pionships in Portugal.
Mark Downes, England Youth Coach, said: "Larford is the ideal choice of venue because the banks are perfect, and as a mixed fishery it will accommodate the styles of fishing they will be required to do in Portugal."
