IN Francis Lankester's recent leaflet he asks residents if they think the new children's playground should be on Tallow Hill or by the new Community Centre.
Is it not true that planning permission has already be given for an extension to Tallow Hill Car park but only after the play area has been relocated? So what sort of choice is this?
Mr Lankester was elected four years ago and he has endlessly promised a new community centre but nothing happens. This all sounds to me as if there will be no new community centre and no new playground.
What has happened to the money put into reserves for our new centre?
Could it have been used to cover up the Tory council's overspend?
