MAVIS Cooper called to identify the musicians pictured on last week's Malvern Memories page.
It was the Malvern Wells Band, and the picture was taken at Silver Jubilee celebrations in the Wells on May 6, 1935.
Miss Cooper's father, W A Cooper, was the conductor and can be seen in the centre of the picture.
She recalls that the band used to rehearse at the Hawthorn Inn, Upper Welland.
The picture was another from the collection of Malvern's Brian Iles.
