RECOGNITION for hard work both on and off the tennis court has gone to members and coaches at Manor Park Tennis Club.
Sam Mackenzie has been awarded the Herefordshire & Worcestershire LawnTennis Association Volunteer of the year for his tremendous help in developing the facilities at the club over the years.
These enhanced facilities have now meant that not only does Manor Park have the largest tennis section of any club within Herefordshire & Worcestershire but it has received recognition on two fronts.
The club received the Herefordshire & Worcestershire LTA Club Junior Programme of the Year Award and, perhaps even more importantly, has gained National LTA Performance accreditation status for the commitment to junior performance coaching, training and matchplay.
