BRIAN Boswell won the Velo Club Sevale 10m time trial held on the Chance Lane circuit with a time of 23m 26s, almost 2 minutes ahead of the next competitor.

In second place was veteran rider Kevin Minsky who produced an excellent ride of 25m 15s for his first ride of the season.

The calm, warm evening contributed to some good times, with Ros Bray's 27m 55s being a personal best, and Kieran O'Toole's time of 37m 1s is equivalent to an average speed of over 16 mph- not bad for a 12-year-old.

The full results were: 1 Brian Boswell 23.26, 2 Kevin Minsky 25.15, 3= Tony Knight and Jim Sharrock 27.06, 5 Mike Peakman 27.43, 6 Ros Bray 27.55, 7 Sean O'Toole 28.47, 8 Roger Underhill 30.22, 9 Eddie Bray 33.25, 10 Kieran O'Toole 37.01.

The next event is a 2-up 10-mile time trial using the Chance Lane course on Thursday (May 1) starting at 7pm. The full list of events can be found on the club's website, www.sevale-malvern.freeserve. co.uk.
