This weekend sees a double-header for local point-to-point enthusiasts with the United Pack meeting at Brampton Bryan tomorrow followed by the Clifton on Teme fixture at Upper Sapey on Sunday.

The United Pack meeting at the picturesque Brampton Bryan course is a seven-race card with a 2.05pm start with the highlight of the meeting the Dodson & Horrell sponsored PPORA members race.

Among the 24 entries are Lady Dudley Cup runner-up Fontaine Again, Welsh challenger St Helier, Upton winner Bolshie Baron and the veteran pointer Braes of Mar owned by Her Majesty the Queen.

There are 17 entries in the Ladies Open with the probable favourite being the ultra consistent Upton Adventure and most opposition could come from Cascum Lad, Class of Ninetytwo and Allow.
