ONCE again I must plead with those who are doing 40mph and more through Wyre Piddle.
I have warned you before but you take no notice. Abuse it and we all lose the right to use the road on the east side, then you will have to start out earlier to use the bypass.
It is 30mph 24-hours-a-day, including nightfall. Some are our own villagers who should set an example by not speeding. You have been seen and noted. And for those who are trying to push the closure through before the elections, please note we will not change our minds, so wait for the inquiry. To those who want it closed, how would you like it if you were cut off from the village? I agree we need to stop people abusing the road but why make it difficult for other villagers. Please think of everyone and not just what you require. Thank you to those who are doing 30mph.
