A gardener's question time will take place at Welford School Hall, Headlands Road, on Friday, May 9, at 7.30pm, tickets £5 including a glass of wine, tickets from 750389 or 750436. The panel consists of Sally Hopkinson, landscape gardener, Bob Brown, plantsman and Val Bocerne, authoress.
A fine display of paintings by local artists was on display at Welford Village Hall on Sunday.
An auction of promises will be held at Long Marston Village Hall on Saturday, April 26, at 7.30pm, adults £5 in aid of the church Saint James the Great.
