The first meeting of this WI was held on March 13, 1928 at Spring Grove House, the home of Mrs Harcourt Webb.
The group celebrated its 75th anniversary with a lunch at Little Lakes Golf Club, when county chairman Suzanne Owen, and group co-ordinator Margaret Johnson, were guests.
The April 14 meeting featured a talk by P Rogers, on cheese making.
