THIEVES who broke into a house in Cornfield Way, Ashton-under-Hill, during Sunday night took the car keys and then a blue Audi TT car from outside.
The car has since been recovered from another part of the country.
PC Dave Weaver, Wychavon intelligence officer, said: "It is advisable that people do not leave the keys to their cars near to their front door and, if you have a garage, then it is best to keep the car locked in it.
"It is also sensible to keep keys out of plain sight."
