KIDDERMINSTER Harriers can clinch a place in the Nationwide League Division Three play-offs.

That's the firm belief of two of their key campaigners Sean Flynn and Craig Hinton.

Both are convinced Harriers have the credentials to mount a serious challenge, particularly after their side hoisted themselves back in contention by beating Bournemouth 1-0 at Aggborough on Tuesday.

It lifted them into 11th spot in the table, just three points away from a top seven play-off place.

The victory was also the ideal way to bounce back from last month's dip in form when they lost to Rushden & Diamonds, Darlington and Oxford United.

Captain Flynn said: "I don't think there can be any doubts that when we play to our full capabilities we can beat anyone in this league. Anyone who has seen all our games this season will have seen how we can play when we're on top of our game."

Flynn believes the key to clinching a play-off place is to use the Bournemouth win as a launchpad for an extended unbeaten run.

He said: "If we do that then I see no reason why we can't push ourselves back inside the top seven."

Influential defender Hinton said: "Hartlepool and Rushden seem to be opening up a gap near the top but other than that it's very tight.

"Any team putting a decent run together could find themselves right in the shake-up.

"Hopefully, we can do just that. I know we have the ability within the squad to get into the play-offs."
