Macclesfield took the lead with a goal from striker Miles on his debut after he had replaced Tipton at half-time.
The loan signing from Crewe was left completely unmarked from a Dunning pass in the 51st minute and he stroked home a low finish from just inside the area in to Brock's left-hand corner.
