ATHLETICS: Several Amazing Feet Running Club members tackled the annual Bala Lake Road Race 11.25-mile race in Wales.
John Amos was first home for the club in one hour 11 minutes six seconds to claim 17th place overall.
Other times: Eddie Sanders 25th, 1-13-02, Chris Miles 41st, 1-17-14, Colin Lucas 115th, 1-29-15, Gordon Sims 162nd,1-37-38, Sam Hatton 204th, 1-46-31, Rob Edwards 205th, 1-46-32.
The first four men finished as fourth team overall in the race.
Heather Harrison remained on course for next month's London Marathon by completing the Rhayader Round The Lake 20-mile race in Powys in 2-21-50.
Amos and Sanders finished seventh and ninth respectively in the Lacon Childe 10km-race in 39-33 and 40-33. Amos was second over-40 male to finish.
