IAN Britton was a cheerful man after Kidderminster Harriers made a good start on their travels at Bournemouth.

The boss said: "I'm happy with a point even though we could have stolen all three.

"We stifled the midfield as they are a passing side and it worked because they reverted to the long ball in the last 20 minutes.

"Bournemouth had a lot of the ball but we deserved a draw. Brocky made a couple of good saves in the second half but that apart he had little to do.

"The second from Warren Feeney's low strike was a superb save, top class because he had to get down low to it.

"But the first from Derek Holmes' volley I would have expected him to save because he reacted quickly and it was an instinctive save."

On Broughton's miss, Britton admitted: "Drewe is gutted. He took a lot of stick from the lads for missing with his late effort which I thought was going in."
