DREWE Broughton revealed Harriers were working hard on getting to the bottom of their 45-minute displays after Saturday's FA Cup draw with Rushden.

The front-man, who has rediscovered his goal touch with three goals in as many weeks, said: "In the second half we showed what we were all about.

"But it's so frustrating for the players and the management that we have to be so Jekyll and Hyde.

"We talk about it and we've had meetings about how important it is to start as we're finishing games.

"I think we'll get to the bottom of it at some stage."

And, of the Rushden replay, Broughton insisted: "If we play like we did in the second half then I'm pretty sure we'll come away with something.

"Rushden are a good side. They are a big club at this level with great facilities."

As stated earlier in the season, Broughton has always had the belief that the goals would come eventually.

He added: "It's just about belief. I concentrate on my performances first and foremost because without that we wouldn't be able to function as well as a team.

"Without me getting hold of the ball and winning headers we might not get other things so that's my first priority.

"My second priority is to get on the end of something and I will keep believing.

"I know I can score goals because I have done since the age of 10."
