GARY Hackett wants Bromsgrove Rovers to focus on finishing as high as they can in the Dr Martens Western.

The joint manager believes his and Jon Ford's side have turned a corner following a recent run of poor results.

He said: "I think we have got over our bad spell and there are signs confidence is creeping back into the side. "We could have scored ten or 12 goals in our last three games."

But last Saturday's 1-1 draw at Clevedon, a game Hackett thought Rovers should have won, leaves the side needing to close a six-point gap to catch Weston-Super-Mare and they have played a game more.

"It's a tall order, we know that, and we would have to virtually win every game," Hackett added. "Our aim is to finish as high in the league as we possibly can and we are determined to finish on a high."

Rovers face another important game at Gloucester City on Saturday, where fans will be segregated.

Kevin Banner and Paul Danks are back in the squad but doubts hang over goalkeeper Matt Lowe after he injured his thigh in a collision at Clevedon.
