THE U13 girls' football team at Worcester's Elgar Technology College has won through to the Midlands final of the Adidas Community Cup.
The team beat off competition from 26 other schools to become Worcestershire champions at Kidderminster Harriers' Aggborough home.
They will be hoping for further progress in tomorrow's Midlands play-off at Walsall's Bescot Stadium.
The school's PE co-ordinator Jo Foulds said: "I am very pleased for the girls. They have put in a lot of hard work and thoroughly deserve their success."
