I AM sure plenty of letters are written, complaining and criticising how poor the railway facilities are, but in my recent experience, I have found the opposite to be true.
I went to London Paddington from Worcester Shrub Hill on Sunday, February 2, at approximately 9.00am, reaching London Paddington at about 11.20am, exactly on schedule. The service given by the ticket inspector on the train was impeccable.
The journey was comfortable, heating was just right and I have nothing but praise for everyone on that leg of the journey.
The return journey started at 6.30pm and, once again, the service was excellent, the ride comfortable and the train arrived at Shrub Hill two minutes before time.
I hear a lot of bad publicity and poor time keeping of the trains, but at least on this occasion, both legs of my journey were on time.
C N BARIA,
Worcester.
