I FEEL I must reply to Bill Davidson (You Say, February 10) and the countless others who say that a new supermarket is not needed in St John's.
Have these people ever used a supermarket other than Leo's, which compared to Tesco is very expensive.
Why can't they take a look at other sites that Tesco has developed? They will see how good the landscaping is.
I am sure that it will improve the roads and bring more people into St John's, not have an adverse effect. How many people want a new supermarket but are being bullied by do- gooders? More than most would like I think.
