TWO recent stories carried the headlines "Shoppers forced to seek refuge in store" and "Yobs run riot on city estate."

A 15-year-old was banned from part of the city, yet the weak magistrates on this case refused to name him. Why? Even the Voice of Worcester asked why there were "mixed messages for the public."

We want a safe city where, when the police do a good job, magistrates back them up with proper sentencing.
