A TASTE of the two-tone craze that swept the nation in the 1980s will be given by a group of ska veterans at the Marr's Bar tomorrow night (Saturday).

The Selecter is a collective of musicians from right across the ska scene headed by vocalist Pauline Black. Support will be given by Twist and Crawl.

Black country bluesman Perry Foster will boom out the delta blues on Sunday on his collection of hand-made guitars.

Thursday night will see The Dawn Parade take to the stage, with support acts to be confirmed. Admission is £3 and the bar will be open until 1.30am.

Bedouin, featuring Ali Davey on bass and Danny Thompson on drums, will appear at the Pierpont Street venue on Friday, February 28.

The duo first played with Hawkwind at the Stonehenge Festival in 1984 and went on to tour with the band. Post-rockers Diego Garcia will support.
