DROITWICH golfer John Bickerton looked set to miss the cut at the Malaysian Open in Kuala Lumpur today.
Bickerton shot a level-par round of 71 to follow yesterday's 73, but with a thunderstorm delaying the majority of the field, he looked set to miss out by a couple of shots.
The cream rose to the top of the leaderboard with European number one Retief Goosen carding a second-round 64 at the Mines Resort to set the clubhouse target before the heavens opened.
And the man the South African has beaten to the Order of Merit title for the last two years, Ireland's Padraig Harrington, was hot on his heels after his second consecutive 66.
