A FAMILY of hoteliers in Corse Lawn is celebrating 25 years in business.
Despite the pressures of foot and mouth and serious family illness, the Hine family have kept the 19-bedroom Corse Lawn House Hotel going through thick and thin since 1978.
At the time they bought the venue it was closed. Since then they have put in an indoor swimming pool, conference rooms, tennis court and croquet lawn.
The family are all very much involved in the day-to-day running of the hotel; Baba Hine is head chef, Denis runs the front of house operations and wine buying while son Giles is general manager.
The three intend to celebrate their anniversary with staff, friends and clients later in the year.
