I see from your article 'Emperor's life in town is recalled in BBC film' (Malvern Gazette, February 14) that you describe Clarendon School as being in West Malvern.
In fact, it was situated in Cowleigh Road, near the corner of Hornyold Road. The terrace of houses in which we live - nos. 71-79 - was bought by the school and used as an annexe containing staff accommodation and the science block. I understand that it was used as such until the early 1930s, when the school closed and the annexe was converted back to houses.
