IN the Ledbury Reporter (January 31) the Mayor of Ledbury Coun Noel Roberts says, concerning non-collection of recycling in the rural areas: "It's a point of principle, why should we pay for a service which we are not going to get?"
May I say many, many Council Tax-payers could very well say the same for services they do not have or use, yet keep paying yet higher and higher Council Tax. So join the club Coun Roberts!
May I also say the Council Tax money is like my pension on a piece of toast, it doesn't reach the edges!
