A KERBSIDE rubbish recycling service by Malvern Hills District Council moved a step closer this week.
The council's executive committee recommended that full council approves the purchase of seven new refuse carriers with separate compartments to take different kinds of waste.
MHDC has been offered a total of £723,000 by the Government for a rural mobile recycling service, the kerbside recycling scheme in built-up areas and providing a number of mini-recycling sites around the district, for paper and glass.
