FOLLOWING the success of our recent News Writing Competition for local secondary schools, there will be another chance for writers to see their work in print in the Malvern Gazette & Ledbury Reporter.
To coincide with Local Newspaper Week, The Newspaper Society and The Prince's Trust have launched a reporting award for 14- to 30-year-olds. The prize for the winners will be an interview with television presenter Cat Deeley.
To enter you need to write a feature of between 600 and 800 words, which must be an inspiring story about young people under 30 and what they have achieved for their community.
You can send your entries to the Malvern Gazette & Ledbury Reporter at Broads Bank, Malvern, by April 21, and we will publish the best during Local Newspaper Week, May 5-11. Published articles will then be submitted to the national competition.
