THE Welsh Trail Riders Association Snowrun Enduro took place recently in the Crychan Forest, near Llandovery.
The annual event attracts top riders from all over the UK who, this year, were blessed with good weather for a change.
In a field of over 200, several local riders competed in the sportsman class. David Johnson from Tewkesbury, riding his Kawasaki 200, and Martin Lauricella from Malvern, on a Husqvarna, both managed to finish the gruelling 50 mile course in the allotted time. Sadly, Joe Stephens from Ledbury ran into problems and failed to finish with his Honda.
In the championship class, Andy Frost from Bristol took the honours on board the Team Fowler's Honda, whilst Calvin Williams from Llanybydder took the Expert Premier award.
