NOMADS were convincing winners against the Junior C team in the Whatley Recordon Malvern Table Tennis League Division Three with only one set needing a fourth game.

Adrian Fray, Geoff Davies and Tony Hughes were the successful team. They have two matches outstanding so although they are five points behind the third placed Manor Park Juniors.

Any of the top four teams could, theoretically, win the division.

Bromyard Logics, in second place, had a blank week but the first and third placed teams picked up four and three points respectively to maintain their positions.

The Juniors B had a closer than it appears match with Police with five sets going to four games and six being won by only two points.

Manor Park rivals, Maulers and Juniors, had a tight battle. Paul Lythgoe won three for Maulers and Ben Salisbury and Jack Higgs won two each for the Juniors.

Crackpot visited Abbeydowne and came away with three very welcome points. Ed Palmer had his best night for some time with three wins and Richard Cullis had two and Stan Ginn one.
