AN election is to be held for a new parish councillor for Bidford next month. The election is due to be held on Thursday, March 27, following the death of parish council vice-chairman John Faulkner, who passed away in November last year. Nomination papers can be obtained from the returning officer at the Stratford District Council offices at Elizabeth House. These must be returned by noon on Friday, February 28.
