WITH last week's Oxford University Hunt Club meeting at Kingston Blount falling to the frost, it is no surprise that many of the intended runners are heading for Mollington on Sunday.

The Bicester with Whaddon Chase meeting has attracted a large entry from the South Midlands Area.

Toddenham trainer-rider Jon Trice-Rolph has entered Baron Countryside in the confined maiden, Moscow's Return, Time To Get Up, Waterloo Leader and Mr Protector in the restricted, and Rightful Heir in the maiden.

In the men's open Chipping Norton trainer Fran Marriott has entered Mr Smudge, while her Heythrop winner Thor's Phantom could line up in the restricted.

Ettington trainer-jockey Fred Hutsby has several entries at the meeting. He runs Rough Tiger in the members and Ryan' Star in the mens open, although he also has an option in the confined. Also in the confined, and with the forthcoming Cheltenham Festival in mind, Sir Dante is another entry for

Hutsby, who trains the horse for Cheltenham's clerk of the course Simon Claisse.

Westerton makes up his trio of entries in the confined, while Northern Ridge goes in the confined maiden.

First race at Mollington, just north of Banbury, is 12 noon and for more details contact Talking Point 09068 446060.
