A NEW partnership wants to know what is important to people living and working in the area.
Representatives of "Wyre Forest Matters" have been gathering views throughout the district on how services are delivered and how they can be improved.
The results will help establish a range of priorities for services and resources and will help build a long-term action plan.
Chief Supt Suzette Davenport, Kidderminster's police chief and head of the partnership, said: "This is an extremely exciting initiative.
"For the first time the Wyre Forest district will have a single 10-year strategy for improving its social, economic and environmental wellbeing, which all key service providers will work together to achieve.
"It is therefore important that we engage and listen to the views of as many local people and communities as possible to find out what needs and priorities are."
She said there will be more consultations held over the next five months. But at this stage, it was important to hear the issues first-hand and raise awareness of the partnership.
The partnership brings together senior representatives from the public, private, voluntary and community sectors of the district.
