Bretforton Juniors 4,
Evesham Juniors 3
ON a cold morning, both teams played good competitive hockey but it was Evesham who took the lead with a well-struck goal which left the Bretforton goalie stranded.
Bretforton fought back and drew level on the stroke of half time.
After the interval, it was Bretforton who took the game to Evesham but they conceded another goal before levelling again and then going ahead after some good play down the right wing was rewarded with a converted cross.
Evesham, however, were not going to give up without a fight and pegged Bretforton back to even the score at 3-3.
Bretforton fought back again and secured the win with the fourth and final goal with only five minutes left on the clock.
