The Kidderminster branch's January indoor meeting featured an illustrated talk called "Where to Watch Birds in the West Midlands".
Ornithologist and author Graham Harrison showed slides from the north Staffordshire peat bogs to the Chew Valley reserve, reservoirs, man-made lakes, woodlands, moorlands, and seasonal "visitors".
During January's outdoor meeting to Earnswood Copse, Wyre Forest, members saw a flock of crossbills, a goldcrest, and had a fleeting glance of a dipper at Dowles Brook.
An indoor meeting will be held on Wednesday, 7.30pm at St Oswald's Church Centre, Kidderminster, when Mike Lane will give an illustrated talk on a Walk Down a Polish Lane. Non-members will be welcome.
The rearranged visit to Chew Valley is on Sunday, March 2, transport leaving Broadwaters car park at 8am.

The postponed outdoor meeting to Checkhill Lane/Gothersley Lock will now take place on Sunday, April 27, meeting at 10am.
