A TEENAGER has appeared before magistrates accused of breaching an anti-social behaviour order imposed in his absence last month.

Keith Dockerty, 19, is charged with two breaches of the interim order, which was granted following a catalogue of complaints from residents in Comberton and Offmore about his behaviour.

Dockerty, now residing in Oldbury but formerly of Amblecote Road, Comberton, denies both charges, which relate to allegations he was residing at a house inside an area he was banned from as part of the conditions of the order.

The order, which runs until February 26, was imposed after police told magistrates Dockerty was a "ringleader" in a gang of youngsters causing problems around shops in Burcher Green and Offmore, said Miss Kerry Morton, prosecuting.

The order includes a ban from the area around the shops.

The case was adjourned for a pre-trial review on March 14. A separate, civil hearing will be held on February 26 into a police application for a full anti-social behaviour order against Dockerty and a second man.
