WILDLIFE lovers are being encouraged to discover some of Herefordshire's finest countryside during 2003.

Herefordshire Nature Trust, a leading conservation charity, is running a programme of Wildlife Weekends throughout the year.

The informal breaks are aimed at members of the public who want to learn about animals, countryside crafts and much more.

Organised by Nature Trust staff and local experts, all tools, equipment and materials are provided.

Visitors' buffet lunches will also allow them to try local specialities.

The 2003 programme begins on Saturday, March 22, with the Woodland Crafts and Wildlife weekend. For more information about the wild side of Herefordshire, telephone Rachael Smith or Chris Harris on 01432 356872.
