A CHARITY that helps young people set up their own businesses has received a welcome boost from a Worcester recruitment agency.
Employees at Backup Staff, in Castle Street, raised £700 by not sending Christmas cards to their clients.
They donated the money they would have spent on the cards to the Prince's Trust charity.
Alex Lamb, from the Prince's Trust, was delighted by the donation.
"We rely very much on the generosity of companies like Backup Staff to enable us to achieve what we do in Herefordshire and Worcestershire, supporting young people who need our help.
"We're very grateful to them for selecting the Prince's Trust for this donation."
The Trust has recently relocated to new offices on Worcester's Shrub Hill Industrial Estate.
It helps young people to develop confidence, learn new skills, find work and start businesses of their own.
The Business Programme helps disadvantaged young people between the ages of 18-30, both with funding and with help from a volunteer business mentor.
