DRIVERS have been urged to take extra care in icy conditions after a car left the road on a busy Kidderminster dual carriageway.

No-one was hurt in the incident in which a car travelling towards Blakedown on the A456 Birmingham Road ended up on its roof down an embankment early on Monday morning.

But a spokesman for Kidderminster Fire Brigade, which attended to make the scene safe, said: "It is a timely reminder for people to drive carefully during icy weather and to thoroughly defrost their cars before setting out."
