MORE than 200 home-made cards brought festive cheer to Kidderminster Library's housebound readers at Christmas.
Assistant librarian Sue Brown said: "We had lots of telephone calls and letters of appreciation from recipients of the beautiful Christmas cards, which were made by local children.
"We were very impressed with the children's standard of work, which ranged from straight drawings right through to pop art."
She added: "We were able to give some of the cards to those who are living in old people's homes.
"We are definitely going to continue this scheme and I hope it becomes as successful as the ones we have run in the past 11 years."
