TOWN enjoyed the better of the early exchanges but were restricted to long-range efforts which Andrew Taylor dealt with comfortably.

Player of the match David Stanier then became more influential in midfield and started the move which led to Lewis Ridley firing in a cross shot which the home goalkeeper was unable to prevent from finding the net.
James Martin was denied by the crossbar on two occasions as United began to dominate.
As the conditions eased, the visitors knocked the ball about with confidence and restricted their opponents to counter attacks.
A flowing move from the visitors ended with Dan Coupe firing into the roof of the net from Jack Wood's cross. Coupe was foiled by a post late on but the points were already secured.
