HOCKEY: The DTZ Invitation Indoor Tournament at Kidderminster's Forest Glades Leisure Centre was hampered by the weather conditions on Sunday.
Condensation from the steel internal structure fell onto the indoor playing surface and made parts of the pitch wet, slippery and dangerous.
Competition chiefs abandoned the remaining games and held a penalty stroke competition to decide positions after a goal and circle were made safe.
The Glades is due to host the English National Indoor Hockey League over the next two weekends so it is hoped a solution will be found to the condensation problem.
Old Loughtonians won the invitation tournament for the fourth year in a row with a 3-1 victory over Loughborough Students.
