AMONG the Christmas shopping crowds - managed to lose an M&S carrier bag containing two presents bought for my family.
I would like to thank the very kind but anonymous person who handed my lost shopping into the store and also to thank the efforts of the shop assistants at the various other shops of whom I enquired whether it had been found.
It makes a pleasant change from the sad stories one reads of on a daily basis of dishonesty and unhelpfulness.
