CYCLE RUN: The Beat the Bulge after Christmas cycle run will take place on Saturday, starting from St Peter's Church at 10am. From there the run goes to Weston Subedge, Aston-sub-Edge, Mickleton, Quinton and Stratford with suitable breaks. All inquiries to Bill Smith on 01386 853185.

SENIOR CITIZENS' PARTY: The annual party organised by the Women's Institute was again a huge success with over 90 residents present. After a most enjoyable meal, served by members and helpers, entertainment was provided by Billy Davis.

CHRISTMAS FAIR: The St Peter's Christmas Fair raised £688 for church funds. The PCC wishes to thank all who helped and supported this event.

MUNCH BUNCH: The next lunch will be on Wednesday at 12.30pm. Inquiries to Elizabeth Ingles on 01386 853400.

CAROLS: The Carols for All on December 15 raised £100 for the NSPCC. Many thanks to all.

PARISH WALKS: The first walk for 2003 will be on Sunday, January 12, starting at the Jubilee Tree at 2pm for a 3-4 mile walk.

MOBILE POLICE STATION: The next visit is scheduled for Sunday, February 2, at 3.15pm near the pool.

WEDNESDAY CLUB: The Christmas lunch at the De La Bere Hotel, Southam, ended the 2002 programme. This was much enjoyed by members and friends. The chairman, Helen Rhoden, thanked all for their support and particularly mentioned Rose Baker who had not only wrapped so beautifully the 20 raffle prizes but also was mainly responsible for all the arrangements of the day.

VILLAGE HALL: Fund-raising for the recent refurbishment continues - three very successful bingo sessions have taken place, the 100 club continues (with room for new members) and on Saturday, February 1, there will be a coffee morning at 10.30am.

EPIPHANY PARTY: The St Peter's Church Epiphany Party will be held in the village hall on Saturday, January 11, at 7pm. Tickets are still available from shops and PCC members.
