A pensioner who suffered major head injuries after being in collision with a car on a Worcester road has died in hospital.
The elderly man, believed to be in his 70s, was walking across Bilford Road when the accident, involving a silver Vauxhall Astra, occurred at 5.40pm yesterday.
He was rushed to Worcestershire Royal Hospital but died two hours later.
Police are still trying to trace the man's identity and are appealing for anyone with information about him, or the collision, to come forward.
Bilford Road was closed until 7.15pm while police officers investigated the scene.
